About Me

Living in Scotland has been very inspirational for me.
In Childhood my artistic ability often gained praise from my mentors and peers.
After leaving school, I served an apprenticeship in Engineering, this gave me the skills to work in metal and sculptures soon followed.
Recognised in the Cumbria Life magazine leading to products selling in galleries and most prestigiously in Harrods in London Exhibited at Kirkcudbright Art Festival 2019.
Progressed from sculptures to creating abstract paintings. Currently working on new sculpture ideas in mixed media my new works display this transition.
Advancing my education, I studied and achieved a master’s degree at The University of Portsmouth.
Conducted PhD research in Environmental Science at The University of Sunderland. This additional learning gives me a better understanding on how to study and understand my subject matter by applying scientific thinking.
My main interests when not doing art are Astronomy & Ancient History.
